About Us

Shook Masonry is a Division of Shook Incorporated and was conceived in late 2002 when it was learned that long time Masonry Contractor, KMCO Inc., would be closing at the end of the year. With KMCO Principals retiring, a large void would develop in the local Masonry Industry. This Premier Contractor would be sorely missed.

In an attempt to fill that void, the decision was made by Shook Management to proceed with the startup of Masonry Operations. During this startup process, several KMCO Employees were transferred to Shook Masonry as the outgoing Company began closing their operation. We officially kicked off Shook Masonry on January 1, 2003.

During our first 1-1/2 years in business, we successfully completed over 10 million dollars worth of masonry systems, and employed over 80 tradesmen from the local workforce.

Since then we continue to slowly and methodically grow our operation and have become a major, competitive Masonry Contractor in our market. Our large bonding capacity allows us to pursue a broad range of projects.

We employ only proven Masonry Superintendents as our Project Leaders and we train our Employees regularly in Sound, Safe and Productive methods of Construction.

We stand by our customers, we guarantee our work, and we promote safety and quality to our Employees and Clients.

Nothing that new really, as that’s what the Shook Organization has done for over 80 years !
